TOP 5 THINGS I'LL DO NEXT TIME I'M IN PARIS

SVEN JOURNAL

Ah Paris! It would take me months of very organized and throughly scheduled plans to visit and see all there is to see in Paris! Luckily for me and everyone else it only takes a few minutes ( or a few hours for the less romantic souls) to catch a glimpse of its spirit and to start understanding the inimitable vibe and atmosphere artists of all kinds have talked/sang/painted/written/acted about for centuries. By the end of my first day of my first time in Paris when i was 18 i knew i would be coming back. Many and many times again, because that is what Paris does to most people. It is not a tropical destination from which you never want to leave, it is a town you can see yourself leaving and coming back to several times ( if possible). Therefore i here want to write a few of the things i have absolutely my mind set on to do the very next time i'm in Paris.

THE FOUNTAIN OF THE MEDICIS

The Medici Fountain

Paris has a crazy amount of parks and many of them contain treasures worthy of a museum spot. One of them is indeed the fountain of the Medicis in the Jardin du Luxembourg. Ever since i saw it in an Art book of mine i knew i had to see it for myself and next time i'm in Paris this is the very first thing i'll do!!

THE CATACOMBS

First and foremost i want to visit and see with my own two eyes the City of the dead, the majestic underground filled ( for the lack of better term) with former inhabitants of Paris. I know it may sound a bit morbid to visit such a place but to me it really is a must see ( really really want to see) in Paris.                                Metro Station: Deufert-Rocherau.

A CABARET SHOW AT THE MOULIN ROUGE

If you have already read my previous article about the Moulin Rouge http://svenjournal.altervista.org/the-moulin-rouge-a-paris-must/ ( Good boy! or girl! :) ) you already know that attending one of their Cabaret shows is indeed a BIG dream of mine. Ever since i was a little girl.I can't wait to fulfill it and then cross it off of my bucket list!

CITÉ DE L'ARCHITECTURE ET DU PATRIMOINE

The beautiful building right next to Place du Trocadéro is a museum rich in History and charm. As a history and all Arts enthusiast this is a true gem for me. I do not want to miss out on this for my next adventure in Paris. I am a great appreciator of shapes and Architecture in all its forms, antic and modern alike therefore i can't wait to see the largest museum dedicated to Architecture in the world! Although i have to precise that this is solely dedicated to French Architecture.

THE PALACE OF VERSAILLES

It is Versailles! No explanation needed i'd say! In order to there from Paris, you need to get on the RER line, RER STOP Versailles Rue Gauche.

What about YOU? What are some of the things YOU really want to see in Paris?
